As I'm writing this email, 77,076,504 votes have been counted for President-elect Joe Biden.
That is a record-shattering number. Go read it again -- and as you do, imagine each one of the 77,076,504 people who cast their vote. Those votes came from the millions of young people who participated in our democracy for the first time, the overwhelming number of Black and brown voters who turned out strong across the country despite attempts at voter suppression, the rural and working class voters who refused to buy what Donald Trump tried to sell them.
We voted for change, for justice, decency, and science. We voted for the opportunity to forge a new path and imagine a better world during a year that has tested us on just about everything.
The Biden-Harris administration provides an opportunity for the bold, transformative change we've all been working so hard for. That's where all of you continue to come in.
