Yesterday, the Texas Supreme Court granted Attorney General Ken Paxton's
request to block Harris County's guaranteed income pilot.

This
means that nearly 2,000 low-income families selected to participate in the
pilot can no longer count on the $500/month to help pay their bills, and
put food on the table.

coalition that has proven that guaranteed income works.* I am writing to
you with the request to issue a letter in support of our colleagues at
Harris County.*

work. You can send your letter along to MGI staff (cc'd here), or directly
to the Attorney General.

The Texas Supreme Court will likely issue a decision in May, so expressing
your support in the next week or so would be greatly appreciated. As
