I am sorry to hear of the cancellation of the event you have worked so hard to organize. Perhaps the fall is a better idea as the end of the school year is so full of activities that compete!! Good morning!
After careful consideration and much disappointment, we have decided to cancel the TEDx event as it was programmed for April 27. Our problem was lack of student interest and a very low number in registration. We simply can't put more energy, money and time into something that would benefit and/or interest only a few people.
We are so happy that you were willing to go on this adventure with us. We learned a lot, and we're so sorry if we inconvenienced you in the process.
We do hope to have a TEDx event in the future. Right now, we're thinking about the fall: date TBD. I believe it would need to take place during the school day in order for us to have the success that we'd hoped for.
If you are willing to give the same presentation and would like us to contact you when we schedule the event in the fall, please reply to this email to let me know or contact Abhith, our lead student organizer at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
