For six years our region has come together to give more than $5.5 million to our local nonprofits through The Amazing Give hosted by the Community Foundation of North Central Florida. The Amazing Give is a great opportunity to show our community what matters to you! This year for The Amazing Give, contributions made will benefit Meridian's Housing program, which serves 60-plus residents. When patients are on their journey to recovery, additional support and resources needed to overcome addiction and mental health disorders, particularly housing. Not only does our housing program provides shelter but helps to create long-term stability. During the recovery journey, our residents receive critical support services such as psychosocial rehab, primary care appointments, therapy/counseling, and medication management. Residents also receive life skills, cognitive, and social skills with the hope of helping them become productive members of society. With this in mind, our Amazing Give goal for 2024 is to raise $20k to help transform our residential facilities into cozy and comfortable homes for our residents. Donations will cover new twin size mattresses, comforter sets, sheets, pillows, dressers, shower curtains, bath towels and wash cloths. Residents are also in need of new televisions for the common areas. Your financial support will ensure that our residents are comfortable while creating a beautiful new sense of pride in their homes.
