To address this challenge, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has launched initiatives to support building tomorrow’s highway construction workforce. In this Innovation Exchange Webinar (IEW) participants will learn about the *"FHWA Strategic Workforce Development (SWD)"* program and its goal to increase the capacity and capability of the highway construction workforce through partnerships with the transportation industry; non-profit and private industry; academia; and federal, state, tribal, and local governments.
