To support our fundraising efforts, we will be participating in power hours between 10-11am and 2-3pm.
A cash prize of $500.00 will be sponsored by dePaz Cabrera Law and awarded to the organization whose mission supports advocacy/social justice. The organization must receive the most donations between the power hours, 10-11am and/or 2-3pm, to win!
We Are Committed To Fighting Racial And Socioeconomic Inequities!
We are addressing these inequities through the Gainesville Empowerment Zone Family Learning Center (GEZFLC).
The center serves children six weeks to 4 years old with quality education and care. The center also connects families to community resources. Located in a targeted geographic zone, the center confronts challenges that face Black and low-income families.
Based on data that conclusively shows 90 percent of a child’s critical brain architecture is formed in the first five years of life, we are convinced that early learning is the way forward.
We believe that by providing high-quality early childhood education and a wealth of resources for parents and families, we can level the playing field.
