Good afternoon Commissioners,
At today’s meeting, Commissioner Prizzia requested data on our vote-by-mail renewal progress compared to 2022:
For the 2022 General election we had 50.3K VBM requests. 31.4K (62%) of those ballots got returned.
For the 2024 General election we have 25.8K VBM requests currently on file which is just over 51% of the 2022 total requests. 23.5K (91%) of these voters also had a VBM request in 2022.
