Earth Day 2024 is almost here. The Greater Gainesville International Center, in collaboration with the Climate Collaboratory and Interfaith Climate Group, is hosting a Celebration of Life on Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 20 from 10-5 at Bo Diddley Plaza. We will have music, food, artists, and most importantly, community resources to help our neighbors connect with the resources they need to address climate change.

Climate change is the single greatest threat facing our world today. It knows no borders, speaks no language, and has the greatest impact on our most vulnerable. We would love to invite any (or all!) of you to address the crowd at the event. We are quite flexible with time and can fit you in anywhere you are available. I believe the city is working on a proclamation (Mayor Ward?), and if the county would like to share one as well, that would be great!
