Thank you for helping the Florida Housing Coalition schedule the
first round of 2024
of
AHAC regional workshop for
Region 3.
This event is the first of two required biannual workshops for elected officials serving on their local Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC). Based
on your responses, the next workshop for elected officials serving on their Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) in
Region 3 is scheduled for:

Please note that this workshop is a 1.5 hour meeting. Please add this date and Zoom login information to your calendar.
If you cannot make this workshop, please assign another City or County Commissioner for your jurisdiction to take your place. If no City or County Commissioner
can attend as your replacement, an aide or other government official may attend but it will not satisfy the attendance requirement.
If an elected official or their locally elected designee fails to attend three consecutive workshops, the Florida Housing Finance Corporation may withhold
SHIP funding from their jurisdiction. We will track attendance which will be reported to the Florida Legislature as part of our required annual report
summarizing the deliberations, actions, and recommendations of each region.
Let us know as soon as possible if you or another
City or County Commissioner cannot attend and we will try to make arrangements. We’re always looking for solutions that work best for everyone.
