As we prepare for Passover, coinciding with UF's spring finals, we anticipate many more students staying in Gainesville for the holiday.

At Chabad UF, students find a family and celebrate Passover with love, light, and delicious Kosher cuisine.

This year, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting the first Seder at the UF O’Connell Center Exactech Arena, with an expected attendance of over 1,000 guests.

In addition to the two Seders, we will be providing Kosher for Passover meals over the eight-day holiday, and Passover essentials for fraternities, sororities, and graduate students Seders with all the supplies needed to have a meaningful experience.

Can you give $360 to help provide the Passover experience for Jewish Gators?

Your gift will bring students together in a warm, safe, and welcoming environment that strengthens connections among their peers and to all of Israel.

Passover is expensive (see detailed budget), and your partnership will ensure that all Jewish students at UF and SFC can participate in a welcoming and joyful way.

Unfortunately, anti-Semitism has reached alarming levels since October 7th. Many of our students are feeling fear, sadness, and frustration due to the widespread hatred towards Jews and Israel both on and off campus.

However, amidst these challenges, we see an opportunity for unity.

As Jews, our greatest strength against global hate and anti-Semitism is unity … There is no better occasion to foster and strengthen this unity than during the Passover Seders, the time of our freedom and redemption!

To support our students on campus during these challenging times, we are proud to introduce The Jewish Gator Passover HEART Mosaic.

The mosaic will showcase names, inspiring messages, stories, and photos from parents, alumni, and friends, creating an uplifting and supportive environment for students, offering them a sense of family and love away from home (anonymous is okay).

Your contribution to the mosaic will undoubtedly bring comfort and encouragement to the students, providing a proud and deeper connection to their Jewish identity and to Israel.

It will demonstrate how many wonderful people support them and their Jewish Life and Learning at UF and SFC.
