Join us Wednesday, March 27th to discuss planned events including Health 360 in Lake City, upcoming provider education opportunities, membership engagement discussion and updates from partners. Join our efforts to prevent cancer, detect cancer early and promote healthy lifestyles.

ABOUT NCFCCC
North Central Florida Cancer Control Collaborative supports the region's cancer community with resources, networking opportunities and education.
Members of NCFCCC include safety net healthcare facilities (i.e., Federally-Qualified Health Centers, county health departments, rural health clinics), primary care practices, hospices, hospitals, government agencies and a variety of community stakeholder groups.

FREE CME/CEU Online Trainings


A Strategic Approach to Colorectal Cancer is a 1 CME virtual training. Dr. Clement K. Gwede, Dr. Cathy Meade, and Dr. Mark Friedman includes these objectives:

  • describe the importance of colorectal cancer screenings.
  • list the best practices in referring patients to be screened, the type of screening to choose, and which intervals to refer someone for screening
  • describe the importance of integrating culture and health literacy in communication colorectal cancer screening messages.

Funded by Moffitt Cancer Center in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, NCFCCC and Suwannee River Area Health Education Center.


Tobacco Use Treatment for Cancer Patents is a 1 CME virtual training. Dr. Christopher Cogle, Dr. Ramzi Salloum, Dr. Maribeth Williams and Sarah Catalanotto:

  • enumerate resources for cancer patients who smoke
  • list the best practices in treating tobacco dependence among cancer patients and survivors
  • describe the risks of persistent smoking and the benefits of smoking cessation for cancer patients.
