Good morning Commissioner, This is Landon Harrar, the Economic Development Manager at the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce. I gave you a call earlier about having you come and present about the County's efforts to reduce homelessness with our Economic Development committee ( members and bio's attached ). Our goal is to strike up a robust conversation between the business community as well as yourself, Sheriff Gainey and Jon DeCarmine about how we as a community can help to tackle this incredibly complex yet important issue. The meeting will be on September 4th from 3-4:30 PM at the Community Foundation offices. We ask you to come with a 15-minute presentation with at least a few visuals ( media is available for PowerPoint etc... ), after you present then we will have an open-for-questions discussion with members and yourself. After you conclude we will then go into the next speaker which you are more than welcome to stay for, or if your busy schedule needs you to run that's perfectly fine as well. If you do stay we encourage you to continue to add your thoughts to the discussion regarding the other two speakers as well.
