*** This Email is Being Blind Copied to All Commissioners*** To All, The Tara Verde and Tara Larga projects are scheduled for Final Development Review Committee (DRC) approval on March 28th, 2024. These new subdivisions are the first developments to come under the new Special Improvement District (SID) for capital maintenance items. After meeting with the development community, including regular Engineer of Records (EOR) and developers, the proposed SID Calculator was scaled back to only include asphalt and concrete items. In addition to such items, striping and signs were kept in as such items would be replaced at the same time asphalt work is completed. The item shown as "Retention Basin Maintenance (excluding mowing)" is an option for the developer and is for major restoration work of retention pond to its design parameters. Such work would be scheduled in the years 15 - 20, most likely 20 years after SID begins. The other two options that were kept as a developer option were "Trimming - $200/each" and "Replacement - $135/in". Both are for Trees within the Right-of-Way. The attached SID Assessment calculator for Tara Verde Phase 1 and 2, and Tara Larga Phase 1 and 2 were received from the respective engineers.
