An overview will be provided of this layman’s guide on the benefits of strategic planning for IT, whether it’s a standalone project or part of another project or priority. The guide also contains questions that county leaders should be asking of their IT support, whether it is a CIO, an IT Director or external IT support. IT Strategic Planning is vital for county government and supports innovation and modernization in a planned way
