Good Morning Kairi! Yes, this project is moving forward though slightly differently than originally proposed. There were many obstacles to overcome at Grace so we looked at alternatives. The county purchased some old motels on south 13th Street that we are renovating into affordable studio apartments. One of those motels had some empty area adjacent so we are looking to potentially add 20-25 shipping container units on the adjacent property. These will be full units with kitchen and baths. The commission approved the funding for this pilot project a few weeks ago and I expect the RFP to be issued any day!
