Commissioners,
Just a quick update on this process. As you are aware, the Board held a workshop to discuss this Special Area Study (SAS) in September. The applicant requested to defer the previously scheduled October follow-up meeting in order to respond
to issues in the staff report as well as items that were discussed at the workshop. Staff is anticipating a staff level meeting with the applicant in the coming weeks. At this point, a follow-up Board meeting to consider the SAS will likely take place sometime
after the first of the year.
