City Observes Veterans Day Holiday on Friday GAINESVILLE, Fla. – In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, city offices will be closed Friday, Nov. 11. The Regional Transit System (RTS) will provide its holiday service, which runs between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., to routes 1, 2, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 26, 35, 43, 75 and 711. Please visit the RTS website and schedule pages for more information.
