Parks and Open Space wanted to share with you the concept plan for the Veterans Park inclusive playground.  You may recall that the Rotary Foundation pledged $100,000 toward a splash park several years ago, but the project became cost prohibitive.  The Rotary Foundation met last week and agreed to contribute the same amount for an inclusive playground (pictured below).  Staff are working with OMB and Purchasing to move the process forward, so you should see details on an upcoming agenda sometime soon.
