We will be presenting a work at our February concert that tells a story about those that came before us.
I am hoping you will be able to participate!
I have sent you 5 samples of “stories” as well as what information we need for the “museum”.

Dance Alive National Ballet and the Ellis Island Museum
are looking for stories about immigrants and need your help!
We invite you to share your family’s immigration story with us; when you or your family came to America and why – the challenges faced in leaving
homeland and settling in America and how you or your family became a part of the American Experience.
This is for ALL Americans – whether you arrived on the Mayflower, through Ellis Island or just recently.
DANB will use your story with its Ellis Island project and then send on to the Ellis Island Museum for their Peopling of America Center.

We would like the following:
DANB will display pictures and stories at “Ellis Island Museum at the Phillips Center Fackler Foyer February 2023.. With your permission, your
pictures and stories will then be sent on to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum.
If you are able to participate – we need your story by January 15th, 2023.
