Good afternoon
FEMA Public Assistance Program Subrecipients:
FDEM’s Recovery Bureau is undertaking outreach efforts and providing technical assistance to PA Program Subrecipients to help you comply with all financial, administrative, and programmatic requirements of
the program. In an effort to provide support for our Subrecipients, the Bureau is hosting a mandatory 1 hour Compliance Workshop via webinar for
certain PA Program Subrecipients. At least 1 representative
from your entity is required to attend one of these offerings.
You may have others attend at your discretion.
The webinars will be held Monday-Friday from
November 30 – December 11, 2020. There will be 1 webinar offered per day Monday through Friday. The Monday, Wednesday, and Friday webinars will be held in the morning at 10:00am. The Tuesday and Thursday webinars will be held in the afternoon at 2:00pm.
The webinar schedule is attached.
This workshop will provide an overview of the Compliance Program, Public Assistance 101, and the Federal Single Audit requirement. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions. As mentioned,
your entity is required to have a representative attend this training to fulfill Compliance Program requirements. Please note, contractors
may also attend but someone specifically from your organization must attend in order to fulfill the requirement.
The Recovery Bureau anticipates each entity will complete the workshop, but if a representative
is unable to attend, please inform the Compliance Unit as soon as possible via email ([log in to unmask]).
Thank you for your time,
Jeanne Landry,
