Dear Chair Hutchinson, Vice Chair Bylelry, and Commissioners Chestnut, Cornell, and Wheeler:

I believe it is totally inappropriate, or possibly even illegal, to have “private home” owners restricted and monitored by requiring them to maintain a list of attendees for gatherings with the guidelines you are proposing in today’s commission meeting. In my opinion, it is an infringement of individual property rights guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution. Please reconsider your action by “NOT” requiring individual property owners to follow the guidelines you are proposing. Thank you!

Robert W. Wilford

P.S. For the record, as a matter of full disclosure and personal ethics, I am the Vice Mayor of the City of Alachua. My comments in this email are mine alone and do not represent the opinions of the Alachua City Commission or its City Staff.
