I wanted to thank you all for keeping our beautiful Westend Golf Course property recreational! It has been a very hard fight but well worth it for Westend and all our neighboring communities. I look forward to this becoming a crown jewel in beautiful Alachua County. WE CARE should be commended for all their hard work! 
That being said we need to start being proactive with this property, buildings and large trees! 
We live in the 5 th hole of the golf course!
The entire area behind our home has been maintained, mowed and cleaned up for over 2 years with the support and contributions from our neighbors. 
There is a very dead and very large/tall tree behind these homes! It was not addressed when the owner was forced to take down sine trees! I have been very worried about this tree. It started swaying during Hurricanes Ian and the other day when Tropical Storm Nicole came through it was swaying and leaning! I have videos 
Alarmingly my husband watched as this very tree fell violently to the ground. The noise was so loud and scary. Many of our neighbors heard it. Thankfully it did not hit any homes or person that might hs r bern walking by. This could have been prevented if it was taken down when we reported it!
The tIme is NOW to demand the owner clean your the dangers and mess on this property. 
At that last County Commissioners Meeting is was suggested/implied that the outbuilding with chemicals, Commercial Sign and dangerous areas would be cleaned up!
To date nothing has been done!

To add to this the DUI driver that took out the fence, screen rooms and part of the structure of the building had not bern cleaned your for 2 weeks. This is right by the entrance to Westend directly on
Newberry Road
All that debri, furniture and shredded metal has been laying there for 2 weeks! 
I’m sure things were flying around that property during g Tropical Storm Nicole!
I would have thought the Property Manager of those newer town homes
Woukd have had that cleaned up before TS Nicole came through. Another danger to this community. 
Please contact me asap to discuss what can be done to resolve all this issues!
