BOCC,

Will the county ever bother to re-pave CR 234 from 441 to 26? I have lived on this road most of my life. Hasn’t been re paved in 25 years and is in terrible condition. My kids go to school in Micanopy and either my wife or I are driving from Windsor to Micanopy twice a day 5 days a week. It is ridiculous the potholes and patches on this road beating up our vehicles. We literally have to swerve the whole time avoiding all the worse spots. The patches are a  joke the potholes just become speed bumps.

Now you have 1% sales tax on the ballot with the promise of spending half of the revenue on the roads. I’ll believe it when I see it. Lived in this county my entire life paying the highest taxes in the state and can’t even get the most basic amenities like a decent county road. BOCC needs to get its priorities straight!!!
