Mr. Cornell, I’m adding my 2 cents to any calls and/or emails you’ve received re an ongoing “controversy” on 183rd Avenue/Place in Cross Creek. I’m also sending photos that speak volumes. Doug—last name may be “Bittner”?—has been a source of conflict since he moved to the Creek one-two years ago, mainly because of his “collection” of motley items and their placement on his property. Now we have a very tangible problem with Doug’s collection: 183rd Avenue will no longer be serviced by county trash collection because his “stuff” prevents the large truck from turning a corner to drive down the avenue. No one on 183rd really “knows” Doug, but some things are common knowledge: there is no working septic tank on the property, Doug goes to MKR’s Park facility for his morning ablutions; he takes his trash to the park so he doesn’t have to worry about collection. We also have several beliefs re Doug’s “endeavors,” but they are mostly speculation. Finally, Doug has expressed that he has no regard for what his neighbors say or think about him or his place—he’ll do whatever he wants! As our county representative we really need your help!
