My wfie Maria and I recently moved to Florida from New York and we love it here.  We bought a home in a new development named Chesnut Village which is on the north side of Florida State Road 24 / SW Archer Rd about 3 miles south west of Route 75.  Exiting the development (especially making a left turn towards Gainesville) is extremely dangerous as the traffic is usually moving at or above 55 MPH and merging from one lane to two and vice-versa about 100 feet before our development and often very heavy at peak times when the sun is rising and setting which makes it even more precarious.  I’ve spoken to many of the people in our development and we all share the same concern, that eventually there will be a very bad accident.  I would suggest this be looked into and my recommendation would be a traffic light - maybe one with a sensor and timer which would only make the light go red when there are cars coming out of Chesnut Village (SW 79th Way) from the north and SW 78th Street to the south.
