Commissioners and Staff,
I had the opportunity this weekend--between rain showers!--to visit
the new Turkey Creek Preserve.  It was great! The terrain varied from
hammock-y to upland pines, the signage was very clear, the trails were
easy to navigate, and the parking was generous.  My daughter and I
enjoyed the swing next to Turkey Creek.  We didn't get to walk every
part of every trail, but enough to make us want to go back.

On our way back to the car, we met some folks who said they lived just
down the street and had been eagerly waiting years for the preserve to
officially open.  I was glad to hear that the neighbors were as
excited as I was.
