Good morning,
On Wednesday 11-8-2023 I submitted a public records requests per FS 119. The request number is 2023-645.
To date these records have not been provided to me nor has an update been provided to me to expect the records. These records are current and stored electronically.
On Monday, 11-20-2023 I spoke to Tommy Crosby with Alachua County. I was told staff is attempting to get these records from ACSEC, (who specifically I was not told), and was “nudging” them into action. However, staff has not received anything yet. As you know, failure to provide public records is a violation of Florida law.
I assume the BOCC understands and takes seriously the public records law, and does have a process for managing the contracts and contractors who are also subject to FS 119.
