I live on County Road 234, it runs Northeast out of Micanopy at Highway 441 and after 7 miles intersects Highway 20, and continues North for another 5-7 miles. I live between Micanopy and Highway 20. This stretch is in poor condition. At the North end there is a parking lot and access to the Gainesville to Hawthorn trail. This results in some brave or naive bicyclists occasionally riding the road. It is used as a short cut for truck traffic between Highways 441 and 20. I would request it be assessed for repairs and new pavement. As another suggestion I would think a bike lane and decreasing the speed limit to 45 mph would add to the safety for the bicyclists.
Thank you
Michael Bengtson
