With all of the development taking place along West Newberry Rd and the rest of the west end, it is vital that the green space that was the West End Golf Course be kept recreational.  Green spaces are as vital to the health and well being of people of all ages as housing.  We need clean air and places to exercise, walk and refresh out bodies and souls away from the stresses and anxieties of our busy lives.  Other areas of the city have natural areas and it is time to set aside this space for the west end.
