Alachua County Commissioners,

Please oppose HB 671 / SB 1008,
HB 839 and SB 1960.  These bills
halt local control over any type of energy infrastructure.

Alachua County has excellent
energy and protective agricultural policies in place that we rely on.

These bills preempt local authority
over all aspects of how we power
our community.

They nullify solar permitting
ordinances, weaken Florida’s
climate compact, end renewable
energy grant programs and
peel back existing protections
and clean-energy goals.
