Good morning,
I listened/watched most of yesterday’s meeting. Please support spending the necessary public dollars to improve the call in system. This is actually a very small fraction of your budget and could not be more obvious of the need. I wanted to call in with these concerns, but did not need the frustration.

Regarding the zero waste proclamation and what it represents. I could not agree with it more and live my life accordingly. I am requesting the BOCC review your policy of liquidation of surplus property. Last year millions of dollars of property was sold with the slighted of notice to the public. The majority went to the land fill. The ledger of this property is available from the county clerk and should be reviewed. The county is very wasteful. Pages of waste. Millions of dollars of waste.

The fire station #33 located at the intersection of US 441 and 34th is a fairly new public investment. I consider this money well spent. However, the signage and the surrounding areas are not maintained to the standard I expect. There is overgrowth, utility boxes, wires and the sign is a “cutesy” design with little function. What can be done?
Also yesterday Paul Myers stated the county has received “thousands” of vaccines. How many thousands?  Two?  Thirty?  The number should be exact data.
