Dear Commissioners:

I attended the unveiling of the sankofa sculpture and tribute to Dr. 
Patricia Hilliard-Nunn, a friend of mine, today. I was pleased and happy 
with the results.

As I was thinking about it this evening, a thought occurred to me that 
there are those who might not be as "woke" and "we" are and would want 
to do damage to the sculpture. The ball at the the tip of the beak might 
be a tempting target.

My thoughts continued - are there security cameras activated for the 
area? And then I wondered if there was a spotlight on it during night 
hours. So after dark I got in my car and drove down there to look.  No 
light on it.

So my request is for you to consider installing security cameras and 
perhaps a spotlight at night for passersby to enjoy it (and maybe make 
security cameras more efficient).

Have you considered already considered such security for this?
