As a citizen of Hawthorne, I urge Alachua County Commissioners to stop scrambling to piece together the slaughterhouse puzzle. Those ARPA funds could be better spent in other ways that benefit all of Alachua county citizens, not just the private interests of a few. Continuing on with this is from my point of view a waste of time and money. There are plenty of better ways to allocate those funds that can be beneficial to Alachua residents. I cannot attend Monday’s meeting but I wanted to share my views. Thank you.
