When I lost my husband in 2013, I decided to move back to Gainesville, my childhood home.  My sister, who lives with me, and I, began the exhausting task of looking for the perfect home in the perfect place.  We found it in The Patio Homes of West End.  A home just the right size, with neighbors who have become very close friends.  Too old to play golf any more, we have happy memories of playing here about 40 years ago,
and enjoy our friends stories of their games of today!
Things have changed recently - racing traffic - a very difficult exit onto W  Newberry Road, many new homes, condos, and amazing numbers of apartments!  Our pool can not accommodate the growing population - our Christmas party may become a memory for the same reason!  And still they build and build creating more urban sprawl!  What became of infill.  Gone?

We, as a large group of homeowners, do not want a hotel for sure, and more homes and traffic endangering our residents.   We ask that you please take into consideration the over crowding the plan, as proposed, will bring to our community and find it in your hearts to disallow this proposal!
