Hello all!

I’m messaging you today to speak in support of the County adopting a Ceasefire Resolution. Gainesville and Alachua county have a rich, detailed history of supporting social justice causes, from the civil rights movement and gatherings at Mount Carmel Baptist church to women’s liberation efforts made with Gainesville NOW and NWL. This resolution continues our legacy of being a leader in causes of justice, seeking an end to oppressive, genocidal violence and replace it with lasting peace and a right of return for the Palestinian people.

Thank you for your consideration and hopefully support for this resolution. I appreciate your labor in these matters.
