It was a pleasure to 'meet' you and share more about Duke Energy in Alachua County.
If the client has a long time 'relationship' with Duke Energy, yes, the legal entity after the Duke buyout that often appears in legal documents is as you stated and continues to be valid. Any newer documents are being executed differently; e.g., Duke Energy Florida, LLC d/b/a Duke Energy (if appropriate).

Once again , thank you for the meeting a couple of weeks ago. It was great to be updated on all the power projects!
I have a quick question. I was reviewing the draft of a document (dealing with a solar project applying for a grant) that said that the clients electrical services were “provided and maintained by Progress Energy, a subsidiary of Duke Energy”. Is Progress Energy still a legal entity? I understood the merger was complete in 2012. Perhaps this is language from an older document?
