Dear Honorable Alachua County Commissioners,
Regarding the proposed solar farm north of Archer, I do not believe that we should be cutting down treed areas that not only provide wildlife habitat, but that also provide passive cooling and sequester carbon. Why not use the Archer Landfill area that has been capped off or other non-treed areas for solar farm? Would make much more sense. OR, put panels on existing buildings throughout the community.
