 My name is Taylor Jochumsen and I’m a former employee of ACFR. I put in a formal resignation letter on thanksgiving that would go into effect the following morning. I was then called by Jeff Taylor who then told me in an aggressive tone to “leave the station I’m not paying you tonight”. I was informed today that Jeff Taylor instructed Brooke from payroll to deduct 24hrs(350$) of vacation from my earned bank without my authorization. As a tax paying citizen of Alachua county I cannot believe that someone who will willingly steal vacation time from a former employee at the drop of a hat continues to serve the community as deputy fire chief of Alachua county fire rescue.
