Hi Ken: there are so many Pickleball players trying to play at the new Northside courts of every age group that the players overflowed to set up Pickleball on 3 of the 4 adjoining tennis courts last Thursday evening.

I am playing 3 tournaments over the next few months in St. Augustine, Palatka, and Naples. There are numerous tournaments in Florida every weekend because the sport can be played outdoors when indoor facilities are limited due to Covid.

As you can see from the Opelika article- it is an economic boost for residents and tourists/visitors.

I know there are plans for an indoor facility/convention center at Celebration Pointe. Is there someone at the County who can advocate for an outdoor venue?
