I live in Cross Creek. There are salesmen representing Open Infra (supposedly a Swedish company) going door to door offering Fiber Optics installation in conjunction with an Ocala Broadband company Evolution Fiber.

We cannot find a company named Evolution Fiber in Ocala. The rep is trying to get 50 residences w/ 2 yr commitment @ $99/month to Evolution Fiber who will utilize the installed fiber for our internet service.

begin in 6-8 months and then we begin our 24month commitment to Evolution Fiber.

Attached is a photo of the reps tag. Can you help determine if these reps have an authorized permit to solicit door to door.

Searching the internet has mixed reviews and sometimes they come in and start digging by a sub-contractor.

We pay nothing up front. Just the $99/mo for 24 months.

I gave up a corner if my property to have AT&T provide DSL to our community. Even at the fastest pace it’s HORRIBLE. 

We are desperate for affordable & reliable internet. It impacts our lives, ability to work remotely (e.g., during Covid) and our property values are diminished because of no reliable internet.

Please help us find out if this company is legitimate.
