Mr. Sandlin,

I am in receipt of your email below. I have asked staff to direct the mowing contractor to take care of this section of roadway.

Unfortunately, due to a resident's complaints every time this section of roadway is mowed due to wildflowers, the Contractor was previously instructed not mow.

Mr. Neil Greishaw is contacting the resident regarding the County's instructions to the Contractor.

Sincerely,

Ramon D. Gavarrete, P.E.

Commissioners,

The Bike and Walking path on SW 91st Street from Newberry Road south to SW 17th Avenue is barley passable in many places. There hasn’t been any mowing or tree trimming in this area in many many months. I travel this rode almost every day and also bike this area and see people walking and biking in the road. As you are aware this isn’t the road to be walking or biking on. It’s very narrow and rough.

Please have a crew come mow the county right of ways and trim the trees.

Thank you,

Brett Sandlin
